Quad-core PC time!

I've just put in the order for the parts to build two quad-core PCs based on Intel's Q6600 2.4GHz processor.  These will be fully-loaded with 4GB of RAM and a few extras to boost performance!
In fact, I've ordered everything I need except the cases ... I'm not planning on spending too much cash on these. [...]

Two “patches” to the Vista network slowdown

So far, I've found two possible "temporary fixes" to the Vista network slowdown issue  that I've been talking about lately.
