I'm in the process of benchmarking my new quad-core system and one thing that I'm interested in is seeing whether gaming is faster if the system is running XP or Vista.

Earlier today I ran the Windows Experience Index test on one of out new quad-core PCs - and the results are pretty spectacular:

Last week I ordered the parts needed to build two quad-core PCs.  On Saturday the parts arrived but I didn’t get around to building anything until today (the weather was nice …).

I've just put in the order for the parts to build two quad-core PCs based on Intel's Q6600 2.4GHz processor.  These will be fully-loaded with 4GB of RAM and a few extras to boost performance!
