I've been moving hard drives between PCs today - this is less hassle than reinstalling.  Usually though, when I've swapped hard drives between PCs the PC's booted up to Windows just fine (I usually uninstall the graphics card driver first but this isn't really necessary).

Screw thread troubles

The screw thread that is used to secure my graphics card in place seems to have been stripped and won't hold a screw.  This means that my PCI-E graphics card keeps on popping out of the slot.  I can't move the card to another slot so I'm stuck as to what to do.  Any ideas?

Intermittent fault with a motherboard

I've had a PC that belonged to my daughter here for repair that had a really strange fault - an intermittent motherboard problem.
